Bowling night

I went to a bowling birthday party tonight. It was so much fun and I ended up running into about 15 people that I know very well but haven't seen for a couple years. I had so much catching up to do that I didn't even end up getting a chance to bowl. I don't regret it though, it was a great time and I'm glad I went. Life and people are so much more interesting if you have a little space and take time away. When you're in each other's faces all the time on a continual basis, everything just gets repetitive and boring. I used to see most of these people weekly and, like I said, some of whom I haven't seen for moths or years.  It's always good to reunite with people who know you very well. It's those relationships that can pick up right where they left off that are so great in my life.  There's a nostalgic, familiar comfort that they bring.
